| 英文描述 | It is a disease of young birds (4-5 wks) associated with a high dietary content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E deficiency. Lesions are characterized by extensive hemorrhage and edema in the brain, necrosis and degeneration of neurons. The cerebellum is edematous and degenerated, with petechial hemorrhage. Prevention of the disease is by supplementation of diet with vitamin E or small amount of synthetic antioxidants. Selenium in organic or inorganic form has a prophylactic effect. |
